Make Something You’re Proud Of

The more people with upcycling skills the better, that’s why  we organise regular workshops so you too can learn the skills needed to produce your own unique creations.

With all materials and equipment included, each workshop is held at our Repurpose workshop.

Whether you’re just discovering upcycling for the first time or already have some experience, we hope you’ll find a workshop that suits you:

Upcycled Lamp Workshop

Interested In Joining?

Come and create your own lamp in this practical hands-on upcycling workshop.

The workshop is run 11am – 3pm by Phil, the first volunteer to join Repurpose. By the end of the workshop you’ll know how to make your very own lamp out of pretty much anything!  Phil loves upcycling and he is able to spot potential in almost any item to create some unique and interesting lighting.

During this 3/4 workshop you will learn how to safely and correctly wire a plug for your lamp, drill and prepare the body of the lamp and wire the light fitting. Once completed and checked you will be provided with a low energy filament style bulb and hey presto! Your lamp should be ready to show off in your home.

The course price is for you to create one lamp of your choice. We encourage you to bring along an item that you would like to make into a lamp although we can provide some alternatives like reclaimed wood, jars or our random generator of reclaimed / salvaged / eclectic items.

The course will be held at our Repurpose Workshop, plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks available!
